Derek Sharkey

Derek has worked in the PFI/PPP market for nearly 25 years, in various roles, from bid director and public sector technical advisor to lender’s technical advisor, development director and chief executive.  

Having spent 20 years at two global corporate organisations, he has worked in various senior positions in different guises of bidding, strategy, growth, and project oversight.

His experience covers many forms of PPP, including, PFI, BSF, LIFT, PF2, hub, NPD and MIM, as well as in international PPP markets such as Ireland and the Middle East.

He has recently joined infrastructure asset management and professional services company, Vercity as Managing Director of Strategic Growth.
